Dragon Log

The Clan has continued their "Festival Egg Project," and this little one was the latest result, emerging from an Ice Egg that had been acquired from the Coli some time ago and been carefully preserved for this moment. There is a great deal of speculation about what he might turn out to be like as he grows older, as the young Guardian has not shown any particular strengths or weaknesses as of yet. Except, perhaps, for one thing: He appears to be more alert around Dawn, and generally falls asleep right after Dusk. More interesting still, the dragons in the Clan capable of sensing magic are quite certain that he is a Mage, but they can only sense his magical strength around Dawn. What this will mean for the young one in the future is anyone's guess...

2-21-21: This young Guardian has surprised everyone by moving into the Healerie! It is unclear whether he intends this as a permanent change or not, but he seems very interested in the Healing salves and poultices, and he has been bombarding Spinel with questions. Perhaps the Healerie’s Guardian has been found at last…

4-16-21: The Guardian’s Tawny Aardvark has Awakened at last! His dragon is extremely happy for him, and can’t wait to see what he gets into first...

6-2-21: It is becoming clearer and clearer that this young Guardian’s interests are in the Healing arts. More than that, Spinel has found the secret to this young one’s magic: He emits a constant healing aura throughout the day, aiding all of those around him to feel stronger, while he himself grows continually magically weaker…until the next day, when he “recharges” all his power at Dawn, to begin the cycle anew. This should make for some very interesting training sessions, but once he learns to truly harness his power, this young Guardian should be a very powerful Healer indeed…
