Dragon Log
Keeping with the tradition of hatching one Elemental Egg a Festival for an entire year, the Clan took the Fire Egg won from Roundsey in a Raffle Roulette several months ago, and then sent Fire magic at it, encouraging it to hatch. It took several minutes, but at last the somewhat large egg split and melted, spilling this gorgeous female into the nest. Unfortunately, the Clan did not get that good a look at her, as she was almost immediately surrounded by a strange smoke. The smoke in question smells a bit like sulfur, and seems to follow her everywhere. It seems that the debate on whether or not Roundesy Eggs contain special hatchlings has now been answered…
8-23-20: This little one is already making some good friends. No sooner had she hatched than the Clan’s still Wary Lilum Floron bounded over to the nest, and bowled the little one over, purring madly. He didn’t even seem to notice the smoke—though since he is himself a Fire creature, perhaps it simply does not bother him. Even more interesting, the Lilum Floron is not Wary at all, but has, instead, initiated a Bond while clearly already Tolerant of his newly chosen companion. And this is not the only friend little Obscuria has made. Since the new Mirror’s hatching Cryptica has hardly left her side, filling her small ears with tons of stories of the Training Grounds and the Gaming Caves. Puck, too, seems interested in his fellow “Festival Dragon”, although in his case, it seems to be more an interest in that strange obscuring smoke that surrounds her, rather than in Obscuria herself…
8-29-20: Obscuria became an adult today, and some of her smoke dissipated, revealing a very odd pattern on her skin. It seems that her Egg might have encountered some Poisonous fumes while it was in Roundsey's Hoard, leading to a very strange, but oddly pretty look...
11-17-20: "Leon," the Lilium Floron, has Awakened! Obscuria is thrilled, and cannot wait to see what the strange lion will want to do first with all his newfound energy. Perhaps they can go exploring together, or fight some new monsters. After all, her obscuring smoke makes it easy for her to sneak up on her targets, right? Hmmm...Maybe some of those older, lazy dragons could do with a nice, healthy scare to get their blood pumping again....
2-21-21: The Clan is continuing their “Festival Egg” project, and today, on the first day of the Trickmurk Circus, the project had a strange result: The Clan’s first Fae from the project hatched…and almost immediately tried to hide herself in the shadows. This, itself, was not a surprise. The surprise was that she was completely successful in doing so, and almost could not be found again. Perhaps Obscuria has found a true friend at last? She will have to see…
