CINDERSCAPE
Spirit of Mourning Destruction
Two spirits of war and fate, Warstruck and Battleborn watch over the conflicts written in the stars and the individuals destined to figure in them. Their children are also spirits of battle, sent out to quietly influence mayhem and slaughter across Sornieth.
Cinderscape, like Ravenwing, arrives in the immediate aftermath of a battle, when the armies themselves have moved on. He is a patron spirit of the ruined landscape; he haunts the burnt-out shells of buildings and the razed trees, the environmental destruction that comes with war. He makes no attempt to redeem or heal the broken places he inhabits: Cinderscape's function is one of mourning, to acknowledge what has been lost, not to restore or make new.
