Paladin’s presence fills nearly any room. Physically imposing, she takes up space with confidence; she laughs loudly, speaks forthrightly, and is always down for a friendly competition. (Don't try to arm wrestle her unless you’re at least double her size.) She’s friendly in a bluff sort of way but has little patience for subtlety, and although she’s not stupid, too much intellectuality bores her. If you need some help in a fight or are throwing a boisterous party, though, she’s your dragon. Her main job is to accompany Gowan when he goes out hunting for science bits to splice into his magical creations, but she also helps with guarding the lair and sometimes serves as a protective escort when other pack members need to travel. Although she’s not as dismissive of noncombatants as Kituvor, she still divides the world into those who can hold their own in a pitched battle and those who need to stay out of the way and let themselves be protected. She can be a trifle condescending toward the latter, but there's no meanness to it. After all, they’re important and worthy in their own ways (if perhaps not quite as much so as a real warrior). 
» Although she’s a powerhouse fighter, she’s a terrible hunter. If she were lost in a forest, she’d starve to death. Liann and Tali think this is hilarious, but they avoid teasing her about it—the one time they tried, she laughed it off, but it still visibly hurt her feelings and required vigorous make-up cuddling in order to restore her usual good mood. » Some of the dragons in the pack debate who would win in a fight between her and Skilliaj. Opinions differ, but all agree that it would be an epic confrontation. | ********** |
