A jovial and carefree creature by virtue of being a tanuki, although she is considered quite serious by tanuki standards. She, alongside Frolic, lives in the Purring Winds disguised as a dragon, and generally matches his role and attitude. She is, however, a little more hands-off than him, and not as involved with the clan's activities. She clearly lives by her own whims, and if she doesn't feel like doing something, she's not going to.
Leaf is also a danuki; a powerful magic user among the tanuki, and skilled in multiple kinds of magic outside of transformation. She can easily match dragons in raw magical potential. She also commonly travels invisibly by the leaves on the wind, which she manipulates with her magic. This allows her to eavesdrop, and generally go places where she's not supposed to be- although any clever tanuki could do the same, honestly. That's just in their nature.
An old friend of Frolic's, Leaf met him while they both were still young pups, playing around together and forming a strong, life-long bond. She wouldn't live among dragons had Frolic not chosen to do so. Oh, well, she does find them interesting, and to be honest, they are prime targets for pranks, considering they're not even aware of she and Frolic being tanuki.
Speaking of pranks, you better hope you don't cross her, because she will revenge-prank you. Maliciously. That being said, if she likes you, she'll also do favors just for you, and despite her fickle nature, become a reliable friend.
All in all, a whimsical creature who moves to the beat of her own drum. While other tanuki may call her serious, that doesn't say much about her overall.
