FROLIC
TANUKI

A dragon who is very in-tune with nature, and is often found wandering through the gardens and the nearby Zephyr Steppes. As his name implies, Frolic is cheerful and lively as he goes through life, and one can generally count on finding him with special tea, pastries, and other tasty goodies. He enjoys attending parties, at which he will distribute said tea and food, and therefor works together rather well with Cherry, the clan's resident party organizer. He has a penchant for storytelling, and enjoys recounting tales of legendary beastclans and their achievements from even before dragonkind, as they are known today, came along. He also often speaks of the value in allowing nature to thrive alongside the innovations of the current times, letting all species live in harmony. These things, however, are often told with a whimsical and somewhat supernatural flair to them, almost conflicting with the rather serious message behind them.

Despite how well-liked he is by most, he is an extremely mysterious dragon whose origins are a bit of an enigma. He comes from the Viridian Labyrinth, but other than that, it's hard to tell what his homelands and his family are like, and he does have family, most agree, for he makes time to visit them every so often, presumably so his tundra mind doesn't forget them.

In truth, however... Frolic is not a dragon at all, but a tanuki masquerading as one. If one were to look closely, they could trace his way of dress and his rather unorthodox name back to these origins, but many simply consider him to just be a rather fanatic nature dragon who likes keeping in touch with his original element. When Frolic quote unquote 'visits his family', he is really visiting his fellow tanuki to make merry with them, share stories, pull pranks, drink tea, and the other myriad of activities tanuki enjoy.

Frolic mainly lives among dragons to observe them... and because they are simply hilarious to pull pranks on! Truly, he loves his dragon friends, and genuinly enjoys sharing his special teas and pastries with them, but the way they can't figure out that it's him pulling pranks on them is too good. With his ability to transform into a variety of things, he can quite easily set up a prank, and watch as it unfolds.

Frolic grows his own stash of special fruits, ones that dragonkind has long forgotten that exist. They are hidden in a place only he, when transformed into his true tanuki form, can reach.
