A wizard- or rather, in his own words, a "Magiturge". Whatever that means. Either way, Kyle's real good with magic. So good, in fact, that he has his own private pocket dimension where he hangs out sometimes, and practices his wizardry and upgrades his magical equipment. He's also met God, he claims. Which one? Yes.
He's an eccentric guy, to say the least, but that's okay. He's good at what he does, and what he does is shoot stuff with magic. If you're out to get him, prepare to get abraca-DIE'd.
Kyle's a high-end operative of Status Quo- kind of. He likes doing his own thing, and doesn't like taking orders. In fact, he pretty much only does what he wants, and there's very little anyone can do to stop him. Oh, he's got a sense of duty, certainly, but it's hard to make him care when he just... doesn't. He decides what's worth caring about for himself, thankyouverymuch. Yes, yes, he'll do a favor for Doc every now and then, and if Status Quo needs him to go tah-friggin-dah on something, he will, but don't get him wrong: Kyle does what Kyle wants.
It just so happens that most of what they ask Kyle to do aligns with his general interests. Which is using his magic to make stuff blow up.
Kyle also has a zombie mate, whom he loves to the end of the world and back. No, seriously, have you seen Akali? She's the perfect dragon for him; she's so creative, and funny, and smart, and she loves doing dumb fun stuff together, and making things go boom in that big cauldron of hers, and- and-
Well, he just loves her a lot. He was really scared when she died, you know! But thanks to Doc, she could be brought back, so that was a relief. He probably loves her even more now, to be honest.
Kyle moved to the Purring Winds because Akali came there upon Doc's reccomendation. The clan needed a new alchemist, and Akali needed a place to perform her alchemy undisturbed. Win-win, really, so Kyle moved along with her. That being said, he does go out on missions for Status Quo, so it's not like he's there 24/7, like Akali is.
He just needs to make things go boom sometimes, y'know?
