Tom, as the local shopkeep and realtor, has always had a knack for business. He's had quite the pawful of experience in selling homes to those looking for a new start in life, but don't think of him as a horrible landlord! Tom is more than content with letting you pay back a loan on entirely your own pace, and with no interest! This humble raccoon is almost always seen with a jolly disposition that would make any customer of his smile. Some may see him as always trying to make a quick deal, as Tanuki are sometimes known for... While this reputation does sting him a bit, he doesn't let it stop him from helping those in need.

Tom has also taken in some apprentices in the past. Timmy and Tommy, two young Tanuki twins, have been working closely under Tom to one day open up a business of their own! They've been catching on fairly quickly, and Tom couldn't be more proud. Rumor has it that they're his nephews, but it hasn't been confirmed whether they're related or not. Still, though, Tom thinks of them as his own family.
