Alatáriel

An ethereal figure, Alatáriel is a mystery to those who come across them. While they have an air of wisdom, do not approach them for advice for you will leave enchanted, with more questions than answers.
Only those closest to them know them to actually be vain and to use their wit like a mask, inspiring unfounded awe in others.

Alatáriel is an incredibly skilled healer, but would rather slack off and let others do the healing. When they do step up to the plate though, you can be assured that they let you know just how lucky you are to be receiving treatment from such an ethereal being. They're a snob, and get along with just a handful of people. They have a lot of wisdom to impart to their students, however, and are happy to teach people, at least partially because then they don't have to work as much.
They are good at reading what other dragons think of them, and have a lot of fun with this knowledge.
Despite their flaws, they don't like seeing others in pain, and will do whatever they can to keep the peace of the clan and make sure its members are safe and happy.

Relationships

Louis and Alatáriel both have an appreciation for beauty ~~and a certain air of snobbery~~. They like spending time together discussing the ways the clan can be 'spruced up' along with its other dragons. They are each others' closest friends.

Hikari is learning medicine under Alatáriel, and has quite the crush on his teacher. Alatáriel knows this, of course, and finds new ways to fluster him all whilst pretending to be completely oblivious.

Nadi is also a medic-in-training, who is a little too experimental in her work. Alatáriel finds her antics hilarious and won't stop her unless she's about to saw off someone's good leg or inadvertently poison them.

Actaea and Alatáriel have known each other since the latter first moved to the clan. They have respect for each other, but Actaea finds Alatáriel's facade exhausting.

These are the items that come to mind when Lachesis contemplates Alatáriel. The items imply an occluded past, a tough exterior (or, being ready for tough times), courage, and that they're happy where they are, even if they don't show it.
