Dawn

Being one of the clan's oldest members (she joined when the clan was just getting started), Dawn has her fair share of stories about the history of the clan. It's not much, but it's even more impressive when you notice that sometimes Hywela will stride up to Dawn and ask her a few questions about the clan. (And Hywela is one of the most knowledgable dragons in the clan.)

Dawn has taken up storytelling after raising her first clutch, who enjoyed it when their mother told them stories of the Icewarden and the beginnings of their (then) small clan. The feeling was mutual, apparently, because Dawn ended up doing the same for all the youngsters in the clan - not just her own children. Perhaps the reason why Hywela runs to Dawn so often is because - or so the rumors say - the Coatl asked Dawn about everything she knew as a young hatchling. If it is true or not, neither dragon has shown any sign of acknowledging it.

Scorchpaw Prowler Familiar Dragonkind have stiff competition during the summer hunts, and it can be hard to pick off smaller game with these bobcats slinking around. 250

Chosen Familiar: Scorchpaw Prowler "Sandy" Sandy stuck with Dawn ever since the Pearlcatcher joined the clan, which at the time was just a lesser clan floating on one of the smaller floes of the Southern Icefield. Unfortunately, Sandy expired because of a fatal infection inflicted on her long before Moonflight started training to be a healer. No one could save her, and so the great cat no longer walks beside Dawn.
