He, alongside his sister Snowbalt and the rookie warrior Jasnah, were personally selected by Head Guard Tetsu to train under her wing and become captains for training new recruits to serve the Icewarden. He is delighted to fight beside his sister, but he would rather be just a lair guard than a captain. However, due to Tetsu's stern demeanor, he hadn't told her about his interests until Jasnah, Snowbalt, and Aqualia eventually convinced him to tell her himself.

Now he cheers on his sister and his siblings-in-arms from the sidelines, giving tips and observations from outside the team. As a consequence of not fighting in the Coliseum, he has to carry all the loot that makes it out of the battlefield. Often the fighters consume some of the food obtained from their battles, and barely bring any food from home.
