Biography

SNOWBALT
Trainee Captain-in-Training
She likes looking at the sky and into the deep ocean. Unfortunately she is very nearsighted.

Her father Blue doesn't want her to be a lair guard because of her nearsightedness, and is scared that she might one day fall in battle without her vision to help her. However, he still agreed to train her in battle skills, to make sure she can defend herself in case the lair gets attacked.

The armor Snowbalt chose to wear reflects her love for the ocean and its inhabitants. It seems to also reflect armor from a world far away, of a waterbound civilization protecting a reservoir for their kingdom...

Due to her nearsightedness, she was seen by Winterheart - when she was sane - as a sign of trouble ahead for the clan. Snowbalt isn't the best at much, but loves to read and share stories. Her mother Dawn tells her stories from her time in the Nature flight, and her father Blue loves to tell her stories of her grandmother Kaas and her grandfather Moonflight, both of which are able and working warriors in the clan. Snowbalt feels inspired by the stories she learns from everyone, and they are what give her motivation and power.

She was personally selected by Tetsu to be one of the first three dragons to be trainee captains - that is, to train future warriors who wish to be exalted to serve under the clan's deity. The others on her team are her Pearlcatcher older brother, Caramelite, two Banescales called Jasnah and Aqualia, and Phandrance the Imperial.
