Deepstone

Unlike most of the dragons in his clan, Deepstone felt that the gender he was given didn't really fit with him. "Female" just didn't seem right, so he chose to go by the opposite. Some dragons look at him and shake their heads, but his father looks at him and sees a unique bravery. Deepstone takes that as a sign that he belongs, and takes on every next challenge boldly.

He's taken up an occupation as a deep fisher, diving in and out of deeper water (though not as deep as someone from the Water flight would like to) to capture seafood for his clan. Almost nobody else will dive as deep and for as long as Deepstone does, so he is greatly acknowledged and thanked by his fellow hunters. However, the rest of the clan - apart from Moonflight - seems to be oblivious to Deepstone's feats.

That doesn't really matter though; he feels welcomed among his fellow hunters and his father, and that's enough for him to keep going. Someday, he'll be accepted among everyone, but for now he'll stick to his safe places.

Can you guess what his name is a reference to? (Hint: it was mentioned in only one season of a TV show I used to fawn over as a kid) IKTR: 1 I SECOND YOU ON THAT. I vaguely remember Jay or Kai commenting on the Deepstone armor being really heavy back in S5 so it's definitely stone?? but also?? it literally has the properties of metal I'm so confused
