The daughter of two of Home's most beloved professors, Lorraine and Israfel, Miriam was born at Home and grew up surrounded by rather high expectations. Deeply interested in the unknown and the unproven, she is shaping up to be a wonderful young researcher, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for spotting patterns as well as a simple passion for finding out more about the world she lives in. She wants to follow in her parents' footsteps and become a paranormal researcher, and she knew more about Shade infestations as a hatchling than most dragons do as adults.

- Biography
Miriam was born and grew up at Home, the daughter of two well-respected professors. Both her parents are professors of advanced magical styles, and Mira certainly had a bit of a leg up in the magic department. Her mother and father always encouraged her to spend time reading and studying, and encouraged her interest in the paranormal and supernatural. Mira was sorted into Niflheimr Hall due to her talent as a researcher and her devotion to being an excellent student, and she continues to excel, proving herself not just a wonderful researcher but also a gifted magician and theologian. No dragon would ever be able to say that she is not truly her parents' daughter.

- Life at Home
A brilliant student, Miriam is usually described by her professors as an absolute joy to have in class. She is often quiet and self-contained, but she also has an extremely well-developed sense of fairness, and she will always go out of her way to help a struggling classmate or help explain the material to her friends. She's from a family where quiet nights reading silently together were the norm, and she can often be found in Home's library or studying with a friend. Mira sometimes worries that she won't ever be able to step out of her brilliant parents' shadow, and occasionally finds herself wondering how many dragons truly see her for herself rather than as her parents' daughter. She loves her parents dearly, but she also tries to distinguish herself from their legacies, focusing her magical training on advanced Nature magic rather than the illusion-dispelling techniques her father teaches. Mira is a talented enough dragon to stand out on her own, but she is still learning how to forge her own path rather than just repeating her parents' successes.

- Relationships
Miriam is a quiet, serious, and solemn sort of dragon, but her kindness and sense of fair play quickly wins her many friends. She is close with the other dragons in her Hall, and loves spending time talking with them about their classes or chatting over books in the library. She often volunteers to help tutor new arrivals to Home, and many dragons younger than her look up to her like an older sister. Mira's best friends are the other children of other professors at Home, who she grew up playing with while their parents were in faculty meetings or visiting each other to discuss business. Her best friends are those closest to her own age, especially Daisy, Evie, and Emilio. Mira is also very close with her parents, and loves sharing hobbies with them - she loves painting with her father and reading with her mother, and she can often be found sitting in on their advanced classes when she has free space in her schedule.

- Personality
A serious, reserved, and earnest sort of young dragon, Miriam is introverted and private. She can often seem a touch cold or even aloof to dragons who don't know her well, although she has a deeply kind nature and enjoys spending time with other dragons. She's simply the more quiet and reflective type. She tends to take her studies very seriously, and can easily become frustrated when other dragons are slacking off. Mira can sometimes seem like a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, but she does know how to have fun and loves trying new things - she just tends to share her parents' predisposition to spend most of her time working or studying rather than making space for fun, but she can often be easily convinced to set off on an impromptu adventure. Excellent at thinking quickly on her feet and fast problem-solving, she grew up on tales of her parents' exploits as Shade hunters, and she's determined to be just as good as them one day. Although she's still learning and still figuring out ways to forge her own path in life, no one at Home has much doubt that Mira is going to go on to do great things.
