EMILIO

The youngest son of Home's founders, Lothur and Cielo, Emilio was born with Cielo's secondary colour and primary gene pattern and Lothur's secondary gene pattern and primary colour. While Emilio's older brother Ezio could perhaps best be summarized as 'bright' and more like their father Lothur, Emilio would best be described as 'clever' and takes more after their father Cielo. Much more informal and laid-back than his brother, Emilio is patient, easy-going, and not an easy dragon to irritate. Like his brother and parents, he is an intelligent and talented magician. Emilio has Plague magic, which frankly makes him a bit squeamish, and he chose at a young age to specialize in curses and illusory magic, a non-elemental field in which he has excelled. Magicians typically study dark magic like curses in order to become curse-breakers, and Emilio is no exception.

Reserved and somewhat aloof, Emilio is often lost inside his own head. He has a dry and sarcastic sense of humour, and inherited a fair amount of Cielo's passive-aggressive streak. Though he loves studying at Home in the library or with the other dragons in his Hall, Emilio is prone to restlessness and he hates being cooped up in one place. Curse-breaking was an ideal career choice for him - he can think of nothing better than spending his days exploring ancient ruins, armed with nothing but his wits and magical skill, breaking ancient hexes and deciphering ancient texts. A devoted and brilliant historian, Emilio has an excellent grasp on Light history and has learned to read the most common ancient dialects he will encounter on ruins in the area. As he's grown, Emilio has even been given the responsibility of chaperoning trips to some of the safer ruins nearby for Home's young history and archaeology students. Like his older brother, Emilio is a responsible dragon devoted to his work and to Home, and he loves nothing more than doing his part to help Home's other residents succeed. When he's not able to get out and work, though, Emilio can go a bit stir-crazy. A sensitive dragon who is quite emotionally available, if he's unhappy about something, everyone will know about it. He can be a bit overbearing for those who don't know him well, but Emilio is a gifted magician and historian, and when he's not driving everyone else up the wall, he's a reliable and responsible asset to Home.
