A scavenger hailing from the Hewn City, Ria knew the importance of taking what you could while supplies were abundant. Old carpets made good emergency beds and bone scraps were reliable weapon material when metal was scarce. But preparing for the thin times of need was hardly her only reason for seeking out things left behind.

Left behind among the scap were eggs, dragon eggs. Eggs with life still left in them, just abandoned to the elements with the trash. It made her angry just considering it, the indifference to life. Ria would search until she knew there weren’t any more lives abandoned out there, left to fend for themselves in the scrap.
