  A B O U T
Sugarbee is the eager-to-please apprentice and niece to the clan’s treasurer, Sweetbriar. Her job includes taking notes, writing missives, organizing, refilling inkwells, and all of the other little tasks that Sweetbriar would quickly find herself overwhelmed by. While the treasurer is intensely focused, Sugarbee is the dragon that can complete her work while keeping a keen ear out.

She makes for an excellent vault guard, her small stature and pleasant attitude causing most dragons to underestimate her -- until some unfortunate soul attempts to pilfer some coin. They will quickly find that Sugarbee is a skilled fighter with a commanding presence despite her size. More than one would-be-thief has left the vault thoroughly trounced by the little fae's lectures. Or her blades, should the situation call for it.

Sugarbee is open and opinionated, with a strong moral compass. She genuinely cares for her clanmates and therefore will not shy away from calling them out for poor behavior. She does try to quietly pull them aside rather than make a public spectacle of it. After all, humiliation isn’t her goal.

However, her view of morality can be a bit black-and-white, leaving little room for grey areas. This can make it difficult for her to see things from the perspective of others. She still has some learning to do, and Sweetbriar secretly tries to be a good influence despite her own shortcomings.

  H I S T O R Y
Like her siblings, Sugarbee spent the majority of her early years training as a fighter. However, though most of her family spent their lives in the Scarred Wasteland, she was born with a touch of wanderlust that led her north, across the border into the Dragonhome.

Mirror dragons are known to seek out packs, and, though Sugarbee had stumbled into a fae breed change along her journey, her innate mirror instincts were hard to ignore. She sought out a nearby clan where she might settle in and spend a few days before moving on. While in the clan, she met Sweetbriar.

Sugarbee is thoroughly convinced that the clan’s treasurer is her long-lost aunt, given the obvious similarities in their coloration. Sweetbriar doesn’t recall enough about her ancestry to disprove the theory. Besides, the older dragon has found that it’s quite nice to have her niece around and welcomes the company.

Since then, Sugarbee has set aside her weapons to become a scrivener, an assistant position to Sweetbriar so she can spend more time with the dragon. Though her knives are much more often used to sharpen quills these days, she will occasionally join Karenina or Celeste in the training grounds to spar. She also enjoys taking flights in the nearby Rotwoods, which remind her of her old home.
