"When your precious little gods lay dying on their pedestals of glass, blue blood running red, who will you look to then?"

____________________________________________ Krisak is an unabashedly belligerent banescale with an overwhelming hatred for any authority that is not his own. His prowess in the skies is unmatched, for ever since he hatched, Krisak was meant for the skies, and years of practise have shaped his very body into a weapon. His wings have taken on a metallic sheen, sharpened by the velocity with which he will dive, and the torn edges will cut cleaner and deeper than any blade. His armour is not meant for protection, but Krisak doesn’t have to worry about taking a hit if his enemies cannot land one to begin with - he’s not only confident in his diving abilities, but he is blindingly fast, and will descend upon invading dragons before they even recognise the shadow above them. For the ones he is allied with, Krisak is a godsend - so long as he’s not referred to as such. Crimson eyes that give away his element are nothing to indicate his allegiance, either; when he hatched, Krisak did so alone, surrounded only by dozens of empty eggs already torn open to be mercilessly devoured by an unknown entity, and owes his existence to nothing and noone except his own will to survive. Practitioners of faith grate on Krisak’s nerves more than anything else, for he wholeheartedly believes it foolish for dragons to place their trust in those who let unborn hatchlings die, and won’t hesitate to bite back cruel retorts if met with any acolytes who try to instill him with their knowledge. To him, a dragon is their own deity; if their faith is not found in themselves, then it is ill-placed in anything else. |
