Arza grew up in the Shrieking Wilds, learning a lot about the land around her before moving to a clan in the Fortress of Ends. Continuing to pick up tidbits of learning, she eventually decided to teach hatchlings about the many different elements and give them basic information to help them decide where to go in life. To improve upon her knowledge, Arza travelled through Sorneith to learn as much as she could before settling down with the Hotaru Clan. Setting up a small school, Arza began teaching the clan's hatchlings. Having access to the library means that she can expand upon her own knowledge, something that excites her. Having structured learning helps the clan's hatchlings better determine their course in life, although many still choose to serve the deities. Arza loves hatchlings, although all of hers are grown and spread amongst various clans. She provides a safe, nurturing environment for the hatchlings, especially those whose parents are less than attentive. |

Arza has made a difference for many hatchlings, although she has not been with the clan for long. At Orchidae's suggestion, she briefly tried to teach Serrure after his magical accident. While she would describe him as her brightest pupil, the hatchling picking up material at a surprising rate, he is no longer allowed in her classes due to his pranks on the other pupils. She is proudest of Alantis, her pupil going on to join the council. Arza is a strong dragon and a capable fighter and mage, although she is the first to say that she is not a 'genius' in either. Her skills are average and she is fine with that. She keeps her skills honed in case her charges ever are in danger. She sometimes gives hatchlings basic courses on combat and spell-casting, although those who choose to pursue those as career options often find others to teach them after a time. An exception to this was Homura, who taught himself the way of the sword after she taught him the basics. Hobbies: Arya has a guilty pleasure; shopping. During her time off she enjoys engaging in some spending sprees, although she typically will give away most of what she gets when she feels guilty about how much she owns (and when her lair fills up too much to keep everything and have it still look neat). As a result of her love of organization and her shopping addiction, Arya has also become very good at finding ways to store a large amount in a small space. Name Origin: Named before I got her but means paneled cedar. It sounds nice so I kept it! |
