Homura

Homura was born to Andvari and Lacie. With a distant father and absent mother, Homura raised himself and his siblings. Full of the same passion as his mother, Homura delighted in telling the other hatchlings tales about strong warriors. Inspired by his own stories, Homura decided to join the defenders of the clan in order to protect those who were important to him. While he would prefer to talk, Homura is not shy when it comes to fighting if the aggressive party will not back down. He trains hard to be as good as he can be, not naturally skilled in the art. Despite her absence, Homura shares a deep connection with his mother from the time that they have shared. His willpower was bolstered by her pride when he announced his plans. While many in the clan worry that Andvari's indifference affects Homura, the dragon never seems overly bothered by it. He continuously visits his father and tells him everything that is going on in his life, even though the other doesn't always seem to be paying attention, focusing on his growing collection rather than his son's words. Not letting the behavior get to him, Homura focuses on what relationship he does have rather than worrying about what could be. Homura is of a similar personality to Natsu, both of them very boisterous, loud, and outspoken. While Natsu was born in the Flamecaller's domain, Homura has some ability to control fire as well. Both dragons try to help others and enjoy trying new things; where they differ is that Natsu is more chaotic to Homura's lawful. Homura will sacrifice himself to keep others safe, no matter the cost, whereas Natsu will protect his friends and family over anything. Not to say that Homura loves his family any less. This sense of duty sets the two apart and causes them to clash on occasion. After the hatching of his brother, Senjuro, Homura tries hard to support him. Senjuro's face is a sight he looks forward to when he returns from missions and the other dragon makes the best sweet potatoes Homura has ever tasted. When Senjuro's skill with a blade began to stagnate, Homura supported him joining the healers, often checking in on his progress and eagerly trying to learn what his brother was (despite being universally terrible at bandaging). He continues to train Senjuro with the sword because it is a way they both can spend time together.
