'Fan'

"OMG, are you-." Taranis hatched in the Hotaru Clan at the beginning of a new year. As he grew to learn more about the clan around him, he began to copy anything he loved. As his interests shifted, Taranis would follow them from one interest to another. This eventually led to him starting to dress as the dragons that interested him. Many in the clan initially found his behavior strange but have grown to accept it over time as simply being a part of Taranis' nature. That said, he still gets lifted eyebrows occasionally with his more in depth impersonations. Most recently, Taranis has been inspired by Luminax, the large Imperial wandering the Lightweaver's Domain close to their home. Excited by the dragon, Taranis attended a convention celebrating Luminax's presence, collecting some swag while in attendance that he now never takes off. He even sleeps with his newest collection, the plushie snuggled under one arm. Taranis has even started to write his own stories about Luminax; how the other came to be, how the Emperor lives on a day to day basis, and even some romance which would give even the Arcane Sprites a shock.

To add onto his interests, Taranis has also begun taking note of which of his clan members resemble characters from his favorite works of fiction. He finds their reactions to his notes a source of amusement, almost (but not quite) topping his interest in Luminax. His list is precious to him and he loves to notate when others see the same connections as him. Hobbies: Writing 'fanfiction' for Luminax. Occasionally writing fanfiction for his clanmates. He really likes pairing Link and Clematis, much to both dragon's consternation. Name Origin: Named after a Celtic god of lightning. Namely because this god is associated with Wicker Men, the ancient pagan tradition. Matches with the familiar and his looks!
