Minerva

Minerva was born in the very claws of The Arcanist. He had found an egg, cold and abandoned, almost a stone. He took it to his ancient observatory and from it hatched a starry winged guardian with eyes like the night sky. she had called the Arcanist father and had grown up in his observatory. much like her father, the young demigoddess was in love with the stars and helped her father map each and every one. but one day while exploring the heavens with the great telescope and encountered an inky blot that seemed to writhe and spread slowly across the sky. when she had asked her father about it he said nothing and flew to his telescope and muttered two words in a hushed and fearful tone "The Shade". he soon left to a mysterious locked room with ten bowls glowing with colored light... well all except one which had the symbol of the water flight. minerva observed the hushed conversation between her father and the voices coming from the bowls. minerva thought that she shouldnt be eavesdropping on the conversation and she went to explore the enourmous observatory and found a room with the entire continent carved in great detail. she went to another room with lifesized figures of a fae dragon and a strange dragon that she had never seen before. she went to another room that had magical glowing plants. she went back to find her father to ask him what these things were but he was nowhere to be found. the room where he was had gone dark and... Cold.
