Augustus and Hyacinth are a sight to behold, a large regal imperial dressed in all white and an equally impressive guardian dutifully trailing her charge. The two were the first dragons to join the clan, and were incredibly close friends with Nebula when she was still around. Her closest friends, they often had advice to give her as she lead the clan. The three also considered themselves warriors, driving back the dangerous fauna from the clan perimeter and making the Drakewoods a safe place to live. Once Nebula went missing the two retired from their job, and now they mainly advise the current leader in affairs, just as they had with their fallen friend.
Nebulas disappearance affected many in the clan, especially these two. Augustus became rather snappy and closed off, and Hyacinth carries a melancholic air to her now a days. Of course, both dragons know more about the previous leaders death than they let on. Augustus would never admit to being the one to kill his dear friend in an attempt to succeed her as leader, unable to be in someone else’s shadow. Just the same, Hyacinth, though wracked with guilt, cannot bring herself to tell anyone, even her charge, that she knows what he did. It’s her duty to protect him, no matter what, isn’t it?
