Augustus and Hyacinth are a sight to behold, a large regal imperial dressed in all white and an equally impressive guardian dutifully trailing her charge. The two were the first dragons to join the clan, and were incredibly close friends with Nebula when she was still around. Her closest friends, they often had advice to give her as she lead the clan. The three also considered themselves warriors, driving back the dangerous fauna from the clan perimeter and making the Drakewoods a safe place to live. Once Nebula went missing the two retired from their job, and now they mainly advise the current leader in affairs, just as they had with their fallen friend.
Nebulas disappearance affected many in the clan, especially these two. Augustus became rather snappy and closed off, and Hyacinth carries a melancholic air to her now a days. Of course, both dragons know more about the previous leaders death than they let on. Augustus would never admit to being the one to kill his dear friend in an attempt to succeed her as leader, unable to be in someone else’s shadow. Just the same, Hyacinth, though wracked with guilt, cannot bring herself to tell anyone, even her charge, that she knows what he did. It’s her duty to protect him, no matter what, isn’t it?

- Augustus is highly respected in the clan. Him and Hyacinth worked as Nebulas advisors. Now the two still help Basil out.
- Augustus has always been very ambitious. Being second in command was always an annoyance.
- He despises his birth flight. To him there is nothing about living in the shadows that should be celebrated.
- He idolizes the Light flight’s architecture and has his influence on some of the Drakewoods’ buildings.
- He does legitimately care for Hyacinth, but he can’t help but consider her inferior to him.
- He may have something to do with the previous leaders disappearance.
- Alright. He killed Nebula in an attempt to gain leadership over the clan. He assumed leadership would be passed to him and Hyacinth as they were Nebula’s advisors and her mate, Basil, was inexperienced and had no passion for leadership.
- Obviously he was incorrect on this, but he can’t to anything about it because it would raise too much suspicion, and because Hyacinth follows him around nearly constantly after the incident.
- He takes care of a pride of warcats. The cubs were a gift of goodwill from Cloverhoof Grove, the Drakewoods beastclan allies and neighbors.
