Handel Guard Captain | Serious | Practical |
| Handel joined the guard very early on. The Greenport Guard was founded a few years after the port city, and while Handel wasn't one of the first guards, he did join early enough that he experienced the way the guard changed. The original captain was also a member of the Council of Six, and as Greenport grew more prosperous, he slowly grew more and more distant from the rest of the guard, to the point where his decisions were made with no consideration to the actual guardsdrakes. He was immensely disliked by the guard and Handel specifically. As a senior-ranking guard, Handel was both more liked and more involved in the guard, and he eventually usurped the former captain, who fled the port. When being promoted to captain of the guard, Handel turned down the Council position in favor of separating the Guard from the Council. |

Handel has a lot of personality just from a quick glance. He very much does have that "captain of the guard" look down to an artform, lol. What impressed me the most about him is the fact his apparel is so eclectic, and you'd never know it. The assembly, layering, and matching of color schemes is amazing, and makes the whole thing come together as if it were meant to be in the first place. It feels weird saying "that's some good character design" about a dragon dress-up... but I adore Handel's get-up and think he's one of the best dressed boys you got.
