B I O G R A P H Y

Ligera is known to the rest as the most elegant representative. She is quite light in weight and yet holds a large and impressive size and appearance, and can handle her trident with ease despite not having any particular training. Her family is a line of light representatives as well such as her nest sisters, Lightbringer and Begonia, and her father Nadeah. She does seem to miss her home, as she was auctioned off with her siblings not long after hatching. One dragon from home she usually rants about is Lightbringer. Stories of how they’d spend the days reading scrolls and bathing in the sunlight outside would always be mentioned, though those moments didn’t last long.

Of course, she didn’t - or rather, can't - go back due to two reasons: her old home is located in the one and only haunting Hewn City of Sunbeam Ruins, not only that but there’s a war going on. Because of this, she is not safe to fly home. And even so, her home is within the darkest and mysterious of places - covered by a blanket of darkness Ligera can’t possibly stand, she even recalls whispers and hushed conversation of those in her old clan suggesting they move flights. Really her old clan might not even be in Sunbeam Ruins anymore.

When she arrived she was extremely wary of dragons around her, she was taught that Starfall Isles is a place where the most mentally unstable and wicked dragons reside - trying to fill their minds with twisted myths and conspiracies rather than knowledge and information. Therefore she was shocked when she saw how organized the place was; a Queen with strict rules, a ranking system, warriors ranging from guards, scavengers, and commanders, and of course - a school! Ligera fell in love with the Kingdom's library the second she had entered, and still spends her days browsing the shelves. It was there she met Caeda.

Ligera is older than Caeda by about 4 months, however the amount of knowledge Ligera contains simply makes the other skydancer feel like a hatchling compared to her. Though Ligera was still shocked when she realized how much of the world Caeda has been though, and at first disliked her for actually being a shadow dragon - assuming that Caeda was playing tricks with her. She wearily ended up helping Caeda grieve the deaths of her many children and even assisted her with taking care of Folleto when he was young, soon realizing Caeda simply doesn’t share the mindset of shadow dragons she had read in scrolls. They started doing everything together; they’ve both shared unfortunate stories from their past and held a strong connection to the ecosystem. Even before Caeda confessed Ligera already knew that the skydancer was in love with her. She has not loved another before, so trying to sort out her own feelings took quite awhile. Once she did reveal them, they were inseparable.

There’s some things she and her mate don’t agree about; the rules, as Caeda wants to be free and not be held back by law while Ligera does her best to enforce them. Usually, Ligera keeps her out of trouble but some days she’s unable to resist and finds herself exploring abandoned buildings alongside her and jotting down stories and notes, later sending them to Pavoreal to hopefully get it written. Overall, Ligera loves her new home. She enjoys being outside with Caeda and watching as her lover grows plants with the magic aura of a nature dragon, not a shadow dragon. She has shown interest in having kids before, wanting to teach them things she knows and spread knowledge.

She also took over Colrath’s place as Royal Mediator, for his snappy behavior and unnaturally aggressive way of problem solving. Her logical thinking along with the Skydancer’s natural ability to settle disputes made a great pick for the clan. However, this has affected her little to no relationship with Colrath. They both seem to hold a grudge against the other. Colrath was now more a part of the arguments than help. Luckily Ligera isn’t as energetic as most Skydancers, she’s more calm and collected. She is approachable and friendly, as long as you don’t try to upset her.

Extra:

- She's exceptionally good at using her trident, and can easily pin dragons down with minimal effort - this made some dragons suspect she had partaken training in her past

- In reality, she just really loves handling weapons. She can use things such as; bow and arrows, daggers, swords, knives, throwing axes, and even maces

- Concerning, but it is never with the intent to inflict pain on others - it's all for fun

- She likes the idea of having a hatchling of her own, but struggles to adopt because of her position (and Caeda's intense parenting has her constantly reconsidering..)

- She occasionally appears in the school as a substitute, which causes students to freak out

- Loves reburnishing things, if she sees an ancient book or weapon she's 100% gonna work on repairing it and making it look brand new

"Well, the sun should abandon it's post in the sky. I don't need it's warm light with you in my sight.~" He looks absolutely transfixed upon her, especially since she has the same color, shine, and alluring look a mountain of riches might. He goes on, spotting something familiar on her. "Ohh, now, I'm no big believer in destiny. My wing-shimmer is like that of copper ore compared to yours. It's untarnished, perfect, worth ten thousand times a king's ransom. Though, if you don't mind me noticing my lady," he smiles slyly. "I see you and I share similar cherub patterns; a heavenly trait. But also a golden taste, no?~" He motions to her gold earrings, identical to the ones on his horns.

He chuckles but moves away, turning his gaze as well.

"Forgive me, but looking upon you for so long would surely distort my mind. I may forget my hunger, my thirst, my exhaustion and my pain.~"
