Biography
G A L L I C A
Lightning Representative |
|
B I O G R A P H Y
She’s now seen as selfish and erratic to many, she does whatever it takes to work her inventions and has begun to spread her passions onto Glade and Florecer, who willingly follows her despite her recklessness due to the name of inventing and passes this love down to their student, Cassandra. She does not care for anyone’s well being, and couldn’t care less about the rules unless she’s the one giving them. Her aspiration is to have enough followers to have her own clan and work them to be apex predators, claiming to be the first to reach the future and break the rules of evolutionary enhancement - well, more like BE the definition of evolutionary enhancement. She spends her time around Meyry’s palace, engineering new inventions to benefit the clan and more importantly herself. Her inventions mainly consist of the art of breaking reality; to teleportation devices to blue printing portals that lead to different realities. This however puts everyone at risk, as her ambitions run faster than her care for others - her works can have a devastating aftermath if it doesn’t go her way.. Possibly greater than the risk of the Shade. Despite Gallica’s rebellious and hazardous behavior, Meyry seemingly admires her, believing that she carries the ‘true definition of the lightning flight’. In other words, Meyry couldn’t expect more from the lightning representative. |

Molnia:
- Molnia is the closest she'll get to having a daughter; raising her, naming her, and caring for her - though she tends to treat her more like a project or machine rather than a dragon sometimes
- She tends to have Molnia use her electricity to power up her contractions and inventions and even runs tests on her to see how much watts she can produce or how long it'd take before she ran out of energy
- Though Gallica doesn't know how to correctly treat others she still tries her best to let Molnia know that she does care, such as creating her stormclaws and sword as gifts

Gallica x Daybreak
Cinderslag isn't a place many dragons would go for a vacation. The heavy industrial smoke in the air mixed with ash and sweat of workers makes the place rather unideal. The whole place does not contain much population either, nearly all of the occupants are fixated on foraging their weapons, armor, and metal. And the dragons that are not there to work are there because their significant other is.
So it was a surprise when an obvious lightning skydancer strutted into the working town. She had sand on her cloak and a large cogspanner resting lazily on her shoulder. Some dragons believed she was merely here for an inn or a resting place until she started going up to every workshop very much interested in their wears and materials - which was odd, considering lightning dragons are more often drawn to electric powered mechanics and inventions and not mere forged metal material.
She seemed to be searching for something, and flicked any dragon who came near her with the intention of asking questions, literally - on the forehead. She was now at a coatl's workshop, browsing the small variety of wears with great interest.
The coatl seemed uneasy with the electric skydancer snooping every crevasse of the store, and smiled nervously. "Uhm, is there anything specific you're looking for-"
"Silver."
"Si-silver?"
Gallica rolled her eyes and turned to the vendor with a neutral expression; "Silver is the best conductor of electricity because it contains a higher number of movable atoms. For a material to be a good conductor, the electricity passed through it must be able to move the electrons; the more free electrons in a metal-"
"-the greater its conductivity!" A new bright skydancer stood by the workshop. She wore goggles which were currently fogged op by ash, and a long brilliant robe that would seem excruciating for many dragons to wear in the heat of the Ashfall Waste. Her eyes seemed to twinkle with delight at the topic of the conversion. "Though Churnscar Wharf is a place of thieves and annoyances, I have managed to discover silver countless times."
Gallica perked her head up at the information and carelessly slipped past the baffled coatl and up to the new customer. "Lead me there, I never really been through the Ashfall Waste!"
The brighter skydancer smiled crookedly. "But first, silver is more expensive than other materials and is not normally used unless it is required for specialized equipment like satellites or circuit boards, what do you plan on making?"
Gallica waved her hand dismissively. "OH, merely a working teleportation device that serve to get dragons across the Sornieth with ease! If you don't believe me, I'm always looking for new test subjects!" She cackled.
Surprisingly, Daybreak had begun laughing as well, though slightly more chaotically. "Well is that so! TAKE ME TO IT!"
Gallica's smile widened and draped her free arm around the skydancer. "Then it is settled! My name is Gallica."
"And I'm Daybreak, your new subject!"
