Dragon Log

A lonely hatchling who found a new home in a much less cramped lair, she had a bit of trouble fitting in at first. This insecurity--and her loneliness--ended quickly, however, when she found the only other Mirror in the lair. They hit it off immediately... so much so that when she chose her name, she took the name of his "dream-mate." Neither of them have ever found a reason to regret this choice, though Mystery is not loathe to share as long as Enigma is happy. For now, however, they remain together, waiting for the perfect time to have their first clutch.

10-3-14: Enigma's Leafy Moth companion has Awakened! After a long and arduous journey involving several dragons, the young moth has finally teacher her full potential. What will she do now? Only time will tell...

10-15-14: It seems that wandering is contagious... only a day after the Longneck Magi friend of Enigma's mate decided to go wandering, Enigma's Leafy Moth went off on her own, as well. Although in her case, Chlora is simply looking for a new place in the cave to flutter for a while, rather than going on a lengthy journey. In the meantime, Enigma has found a nice fluffy Cumulus Seal to bond with....

10-19-14: Having been approached by her mate, Enigma quickly agreed to his request, and now she is anxiously overseeing a nest containing two eggs. Hopefully they will both hatch...

10-24-14: Enigma's hopes paid off handsomely: Both eggs hatched healthy, active Mirrors. While she is a bit disappointed that neither her son nor her daughter take after her in coloring, she is very satisfied to be a mother at last.....

11-29-14: Enigma was sent by Duskshadow to find several missing dragons, but she ended up needing to round up her mate as well, when Mystery got sidetracked by an interesting Treasure Hunt--and the equally interesting female dragon running the game... ( , )
…After some byplay between Mystery and Enigma, the exasperated Mirror managed to convince her mate to come home, and even prevented him from completely insulting the Vendor at the booth, too. As for the Death’s Head Stag that Mystery is brining with him….well, perhaps one of the younger dragons of the Clan will want a new companion…

12-12-12: An attempt to curb Mystery’s more, er, flirtatious, hobbies has had an interesting result, as Enigma and her mate have begun to enter the Coli. They are doing rather well—though they need to work on their displays of intelligence, as both are much smarter than they appear to be. Still, 4 levels in one hour isn’t bad, and their Mentor Beeblebrox seems quite pleased with their progress. Only time will tell if they continue to advance….

1-12-15: A day late, due to Enigma being unable to play with him as much as she should--she had to keep an eye on her wayward mate, who was eager to "check out" the newest female members of the Clan--the Cumulus Seal has nevertheless managed to Awaken! Enigma is happy for her friend, and very relieved that her own activities did not impede his progress too much....

1-19-15: Enigma has found a fierce Raptorik Warrior to help her out with some of her more daring moves in the Coliseum... and to chat with at other times.

4-19-15: Enigma's prowess in the Coliseum may have stalled, but the maturity of her friend was not stunted in the least.... The Raptorik Warrior has Awakened! Perhaps now he can keep his "student's" attention a little more easily, and begin to teach her some of those moves....

8-12-16: Chlora, Enigma's Leafy Moth, has been moving more slowly for the last few days. So much so, that Enigma was growing quite worried for her health. It came as no surprise, therefore, when the Moth announced that she did not feel that spry anymore, and wished to move into the Vault and rest for a while. Enigma agreed, and hopes that her old friend will be able recover her vitality after a nice long vacation away from the hustle of Clan life....

1-30-19: Life as a retired Coli fighter can sometimes be boring, so Enigma is extremely pleased that her mate, Mystery, has decided to sign-up for the Sornieth Winter Games. She was quick to join him in this endeavor, and is studiously ignoring the plain worry of the rest of the Clan.... ( )

2-8-19: Despite the confidence of some of the team--and unique flair of the rest--victory in this fight was not to be, and the team ended up losing in one of the later rounds. Still, they did make it a little way, and that is something to be proud of. Enigma is happy to have gotten the chance to stretch her legs and wings, and already looking forward to joining the team again next year...

4-11-20: Chlora has returned! The Leafy Moth fluttered out of the Vault early this morning, looking much healthier, and immediately settled on Enigma's shoulder. Enigma is absolutely delighted to see her old friend again. Hopefully, she will be able to stay for good this time...

5-8-20: Enigma got a pleasant surprise today, while playing with her familiar friends. She noticed that her Cumulus Seal was behaving oddly, refusing to move very far from the rocks he was swimming around near the caves. Upon investigation, the Mirror lady found a young, frightened Silver Featherfin, who seemed to have come under the Seal’s protection. Enigma tried to coax the young fish out of his hiding place, one thing led to another, and now she has a new companion to bond with! Now all she has to do is think of a name….

8-6-20: Still no name for the Silver Featherfin, but Enigma has hopes that that might change soon: The young fish has Awakened, and is beginning to show a bit more interest in his surroundings. Soon enough he should do something that will give her an idea for a name for him. And in the meantime, the Silver Featherfin’s spirited explorations of all the water near the caves is highly entertaining, and has already led to some interesting additions to the Clan's Hoard...
