Mirrors are known for their voracious appetite and their ruthless battle tactics. They have an unending desire to hunt and devour flesh. But Scapula isn't a Mirror, at least not anymore. Wishing to be larger and stronger than before, he sought out a scroll to change himself into an even more capable huntsman. One detail he neglected to consider, though- Obelisks are not fond of eating meat.

At first, his diet stayed consistent, though he found himself craving more seafood than land. Eventually he grew tired of the flesh of land creatures, and fully preferred fish. Still he remained a ruthless and tireless huntsman- skills that simply cannot go to waste! So he opened a butcher shop, selling his recent kills. Scapula isn't the business type, of course, so even a trade he finds decent will suffice.

His partner, Hellebore, lives in Lune because of her Charge residing there. As Scapula runs a business in Sōlis, he wouldn't have an easy time leaving, though he's often considered it. Hellebore insists he doesn't do that just for her, as it would upset her to make him do that, even though he cares more for her than work. Still, he visits her as often as he can, almost spending more time in Lune than he does Sōlis.

Due to his frequent pilgrimage to Lune, Scapula doesn't have many close friends in Sōlis. He maintains acquaintances from his butcher business, and is pleasant enough. He can come off a bit strongly, though, being quite the rowdy dragon. Sometimes he says things that seem rude, but he means well despite this. He's got quite the sailor's tongue, often not even realizing he's said something off-color.

His butcher shop has a freezer for storing meats, and he often lets Barbatus take over so that Scapula can spend more time with his partner. If Barbatus didn't have his claws full with the tavern, he'd be inclined to just let him run the butcher shop... Regardless, Scapula loves Hellebore more than anything and is happy to spend any time with her, and supports whatever decision she makes. He understands the pull a Guardian feels towards their Charge can't be helped, after all.
