Backstory: When the Duskfury Clan attacked the Aquafire Clan, they killed several hatchlings. Fiona’s older sister Amber was among the casualties. Amber’s death sparked a full out war between the Duskfury Clan. Fiona was born a couple years after the war with the Duskfury Clan, but her parents made sure to tell her about the war and Amber. Nira and Leon meant well, but the loss of one of there children had been hard on them and caused the two dragons to be suffocatingly protective of Fiona. Due to their overprotectiveness, Fiona started to resent her parents when she reached adolescence. The fae dragon got into a lot of fights with her mother and father. Fiona hated how her parents always compared her to her older siblings and expected her to act like them. Because the fae strong dislike of her parents, Fiona would often spend hours in her home cranking up her favorite heavy metal rock songs to the highest possible volume. The only two creatures Fiona actually enjoyed being around were Brux, Sahara and Leonardo because none of them judged her. The fae dragon craved to escape the bubble of protection and perfection she was born into. This desire led Fiona to the Shadowbinder’s night-long parties. With Nardo (Fiona’s nickname for Leonardo) covering for her at home, Fiona flew to the Forum of the Obscured Crescent when the Shadowbinder’s party was being held. Now, the Shadowbinder’s parties filled known for being with crazy loud music, flashing lights and tons of places to gamble. One hour into the party, Fiona knew she found her people. Fiona was having a great time, until Josh, Serike and Revenous showed up. Those three dragons started taunting her and touching her. Fiona was about to unleash her dance fighting skills (the skills Sahara had taught her) upon them, when this guardian stepped in and “saved her”. Fiona told the guardian dragon that she had a things under control. The guardian dragon (named Nightshade apparently) laughed at that statement. In order to make Nightshade pay for rudely laughing at her, Fiona forced the guardian dragon to how to dance and do other fun things. Since Nightshade was a big party pooper as Fiona had learned, making Nightshade do fun things was the perfect cruel and twisted punishment for the guardian dragon. Fiona didn’t like Nightshade, but she was draw to that mysterious dark aura that seemed to hover around him. By the end of the night, Fiona decided that she enjoyed being around Nightshade even if he was a party pooper. Fiona continued to go to the Shadowbinder’s parties. At first she went for the music, pretty soon going to the Shadowbinder’s parties meant getting to see Nightshade. The fae dragon truly loved dancing with Nightshade. Fiona began to develop an embarrassing crush on the guardian dragon. The fae dragon tried keep it hidden because doubted Nightshade would feel the same. Nightshade was after all much older and larger than she was. One night at the Shadowbinder’s party, Nightshade hadn’t arrived yet and the party had started three hours ago. Fiona started to worry about Nightshade and began searching for the guardian dragon. During her search, Fiona saw Josh, Serike and Revenous and overheard them talking about how they planned to kill Nightshade at the Shadowbinder’s next party. Fiona knew now that she really needed to find Nightshade and warn him, pronto. Although, when Fiona turned to search turned, she bumped into another fae dragon. “Going somewhere?” Nira asked. Fiona looked up into her mother’s eyes. Nira had made it very clear to Fiona that she did not want her going to any of the Shadowbinder’s parties. “Fiona, I am very disappointed in you.” Nira snarled. Nira continued to say that Fiona was grounded and that they were going home. Now. Fiona begged her mother to let her stay and tried to explain why she needed to be at the party. Nira didn’t believe her duaghter and made Fiona come home anyway. Fiona and Nira yelled at each other the whole way home. Once they arrived at the Aquafire Clan’s den Fiona was sentenced to stay in her room for entire month. Nardo came and visited Fiona the next day. The coatl dragon wasn’t suppose to visit Fiona since he to was grounded for covering for Fiona. Still, Leonardo wanted to apologize to Fiona for failing to keep Nira from noticing Fiona’s frequent disappearances. Although, as Leonardo was a apologizing he noticed the escape hole Fiona had started digging. Nardo let out a sigh and said, “Fiona, I can’t do this. I can’t keeping letting you go who knows where. It’s not safe.” Fiona hadn’t told any dragon in the Aquafire Clan about Nightshade. Fiona knew she had to tell Leonardo. The coatl dragon was her best friend and he deserved to know. After telling Nardo the truth, the coatl dragon gladly helped Fiona go to the Shadowbinder’s next party. Fiona got to the party in the nick of time. Josh was about to make the killing bow to Nightshade. Fortunately, Fiona stopped Josh and unleashed her fight dancing skills upon all of the dragons that had attacked Nightshade to beat of the song “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” by Panic at the Disco. After defeating Josh and his goons, Fiona carried Nightshade to the VeroKitty Clan. The healers in the VeroKitty Clan were happy to help Nightshade recover from his injuries as quickly as possible. While Nightshade was healing, Fiona learned that Nightshade’s biological parents were members of the VeroKitty Clan. However, Nightshade had been kidnapped by the Duskfury Clan. Fiona tried to explain what she had learned to Nightshade, but the guardian dragon refused to believe her. Worser yet, Nightshade believed the Aquafire Clan was worse than the Duskfury Clan. Now, Fiona had never really considered herself apart of the Aquafire Clan and had planned on leaving the clan once she was an adult. However, Fiona stood up for her clan and realized how much she cared about it at the same time. Later on, Nightshade apologized for his rude comments. Fiona forgave Nightshade because she realized after some thought that her clan had wronged Nightshade. Nira and Leon had discovered that Fiona had left and had gone searching for her. Frost, the leader of the VeroKitty Clan, notified Leon and Nira that Fiona had come to their clan. When Nira arrived at the VeroKitty Clan’s den she was furious. Fortunately, Nira understood why Fiona had disobeyed her after she heard the full story about Nightshade. Nira apologized to Fiona for failing listen to her For the first time in ages, Fiona and Nira reached a common understanding of one another. Nira told Fiona that Nightshade could stay in their clan, while Josh and his goons were dealt with. To Fiona’s surprise, Nightshade did except their offer. Although, Nightshade didn’t leave the Aquafire Clan after Josh, Serike, Revenous and all of their goons were arrested. This was due to the fact that the guardian had enjoyed the extra time he had with Fiona in the Aquafire Clan way to much and the fact that Nightshade wanted to help spread peach accross Sornieth.

Personality: Fiona is very passionate and adamant. Fae dragon is an optimist like her mother. Although, Fiona can be kind of lazy at times. She is a big procrastinator and always prioritizes fun over work. This fae dragon probably wouldn’t get any of her work done if Nightshade didn’t nudge her to do so.

Familiar: Brux the elk had been a family pet for a long time. All of Fiona’s older fae brothers (Chaol, Rojo, Chester and Inferno) had road Brux into battle. Now, Fiona rides Brux everywhere. Although, Brux is more than just a mount to Fiona. The fae dragon often confides her greatest hopes and fears in the elk. The elk always listens intently to whatever Fiona has to say.
