Biography
Backstory: Nira’s egg had been laid in a massive tree-sap spun den on the edge of the Starwood Strand. Although, only moments after her egg had been placed in the nest, the ancient tree that her birth-den had been built upon snapped, which caused the whole den and the faes within it to descend to the ocean bellow. Many fae dragons drowned, including Nira’s parents.
However, Nira was miraculously saved from death by a curious Maren by the name of Olivia. At first, Olivia tried to keep Nira a secret from her family. Olivia used her magic to give Nira the ability to breathe underwater. Nira, in turn, provided Olivia with companionship and a little extra “help” when Olivia had a big test coming up in school. Although, Olivia’s last name was Creedasil, which meant she was a member of the royal Maren family and was technically sup post to hate dragons with her entire being. Olivia also had two older sisters named Serina and Torescentta were very eager to eliminate any competition to the throne. When Olivia started to do better in school, her father, King Meraki began to give Olivia small gifts and more attention. This naturally made Serina and Torescent furious with their younger sister for taking up their precious time with the man who could give them what desired more than anything: power. The sisters were ecstatic when they discovered Nira and immediately alerted their father the king. Since all maren held a deep hatred of dragons, the fact that Olivia had been secretly caring for a dragon came as a great disgrace to the Creedasil family. The King ordered Olivia to kill Nira in hopes that it would “fix” the royal families reputation. However, Olivia refused and fled with her dragon friend to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. The Tidelord had heard of Olivia’s and Nira’s tale and gladly offered them sanctuary within the god’s domain. The Tidelord also granted Nira the ability to see into the future. Since then, Nira and Olivia have been working together to bring peace between Beastclans and dragons and find some of Nira’s long lost family in the process.
Personality: Despite the fact that Nira is a fae dragon, Nira is much more familiar with and similar to marens. The fae dragon is a faster swimmer than flyer (although, Nira is still faster flyer than the average fae). She is an imaginative optimist and very friendly by nature. But Nira is also fiercely protective of her close friends and will defend them with every tooth, claw and spell she has.
Clan Position: Queen/Futureseer
Soul Mate: Leon
Familiar: Olivia Creedasil is both Nira’s best friend and familiar. Olivia loves the Aquafire Clan deeply and all of the dragons within it. The maren works very hard to help hatchlings the Aquafire Clan find their place in the world and help the Aquafire Clan as a whole prosper.
