Sol
The Sun Lion
Thought to be as ancient as the sun itself, Sol is the harbinger of strength. Ancient conquering civilizations often depict this strange statue within the throne room of kings, or even on the battlefields of great wars. Though how Sol moves to these battlefields no one is sure, for no one has ever seen the statue move. Most would even claim that he was never truly there, simple an illusion or symbolism by the artist’s hand. Yet his influence can still been seen, soldiers often engraving images of Sol onto their shields and swords as though his strength will be passed on to them simply through his image.

Where Sol resided after the fall of these civilizations, no one is entirely sure, perhaps he was smelted down, traded away or even taken as a prize of war. Or maybe even in the back of some clan’s vault, hidden away by time, patiently waiting till his strength is needed again.
