Much like her familiar, no one knows quite what Lucia sounds like. A quiet soul, she keeps largely to herself, whiling her days away in her lair, surrounded by jewels and gems. This is her home, her center of creation, where she crafts glittering adornments for dragons all across Sornieth. She labors at these pieces for days on end, making them as perfect as possible, refusing to rest until that goal has been reached. Then, once a month, she ventures into the outside world, carting her wares across the earth, selling each for a fixed price.

Lucia does not offer discounts, does not give gifts. She does not negotiate. She simply lays out her jewels on a soft cloth at each market, fixing a sheet of prices in plain view, and that is the end of it. Some dragons are driven away by her hard and fast approach, and others are deeply unsettled by her silent disposition. But those who recognize the quality of the jewelry Lucia offers are more than happy to pay her in full, helping her fund the creation of future items, something certain collectors are most eager to see.

The wary still have their share of sway over the market, though, and lately, Lucia's sales have been suffering as it has been rumored that she curses all her jewelry. Why else would the owners of her creations be dying left and right? It must be something she has done, and because she will not speak to defend herself, the notion is gaining traction...
