► C H A R A C T E R
Lani is a wicked smart and tactical dragon. He thinks logically about all situations he's thrown in ~~most of the time~~. He's proficient in numbers, and understands the probability of situations happening.

Arguably he's too smart to the point he overthinks most situations. Due to his past, he's also paranoid. Lani is regretful over is past, and can sometimes be rigid towards others.

► H I S T O R Y
Lani did less than desirable trades in his early and mid years. He will never live down the amount of faces he's passed on to hands to do... Windsinger knows what with.

Mila was his breaking point. Seeing a girl, that young in distress, tipped over his conscious. He did something very stupid, in order to make up for his crimes of dragon trafficker: he broke into that dragon's lair and stole away Mila in the dead of night, his scales burning with... freedom?

She asked him question after question, wanting to know his intentions with her. But she seemed so childish, so innocent, her face couldn't pull off a serious expression. But he took in a large breath, and wielded his only weapon left.

"I know you may not believe me, but I stole you to save you. I've... done questionable things in my past, but I want to make up for it all. I want to save you."

"Okay," she said simply. "I forgive you."

"You're... serious upon this decision?" How could she forgive so easily?

"Yes! But NOW the tables have been turned! You're stuck with me til I feel happy you've absolved yourself of all those sinnie things you talk so highly of. Follow me!" And like a strike of lightning outside of the Shifting Expanse she was going away the moon, following wherever the wind decided it wanted to take her. And, in order to absolve his sin, the sin of trafficking dragons, he'd follow her to the ends of the earth. And with her pep, she just might lead him there.

Perhaps that is why Skyway was so adamant about them staying wither her. Becoming a part of her clan. It was the most ragtag bunch he'd seen, but he could make do. ANd with his prowess of monetary value, he could help keep track of the money that came into their hands. By mostly legal methods. But he knew things wouldn't stay calm forever.

With Mila doing trading with the fellow female Imperial Mara Eltanin, Lani was sure he'd recognize him. He'd legally boarded her ship twice, but he wasn't necessarily carrying fully legal supplies. Or passengers. He tried to not suck in a breath when she passed him, and he nearly cried when Mila talked so calmly to her. If she knew all the bad things he'd done would she leave him and join her?

Then, his worst nightmare: one of his sales ended up in the clan. Sikaziwa. He remembered her. Then again, it was hard to forget someone who nearly killed just by breathing. He was shocked she was still alive - how did she end up here, of all places? Why, when he was here? What if she recognizes him? And what their pasts come back to get revenge, and Mila finally realizes how bad Lani truly was?
