► C H A R A C T E R
Mila, while an adult dragon, is quite child-like (in the best way). She's the most bubbly in the clan. She's a curious derg, investigating any and all things she can reach and doesn't scare her. Mila is a soft soul, and forgives easily.

But Mila's personality has some drawbacks: name that she's too curious for her own good. She gets herself into trouble more often that anyone likes to admit. She's gotten dergnapped because of it. Due to this, she's easily spooked but her curiosity tends to beat it into submission.

► H I S T O R Y
Mila had the personality of a child and the colors to match.

Ever since she was a hatchling, she's loved things that sparkle like gems and items that twinkle under the light of the stars. It was obvious that her future would be bathed in shimmers and opalescent scales.

However, Mila was easily fooled. With everything that shimmered came a price, and sometimes, that was a price young Mila was never fully able to comprehend.

"What do you mean, the price for all these gems is free? Are you sure?!" Mila asked in excitement, wonder clear in her eyes as the twinkle of a very well-endowed gem hoard forced her to look right and left and up and down.

"No, it is not free, young-spirited Imp," the man said to her. Among the dazzle of this gem hoard she was a bit out of it. "There is a hefty price."

"You name it, I got it, Mister!" Mila said confidently. "I came prepared for a hefty price."

"The price is you, little girl."

Mila isn't really sure how much time had passed before she saw real sunlight. The twinkle of gems and jewels and the like, no longer comforted her. There was no light to make them twinkle.

One day, another Imperial came to "appraise" her worth. She must've been in there less than a month, if she still had value. She saw him, out of a dungeon first the first time for her, and he sparkled. Like true, genuine diamonds. And she wanted to hold him.

A small moment passed before he made his decision. "She's worth nothing," he told the other dragon. "There is little shine to her coat, and there is little to her face. Nothing," he repeated.

She remembers getting thrown back into that dungeon. Remembers getting hit. And the pain.

The must have fallen asleep and was dreaming. She was floating in the air, or maybe flying, and tree branches stung her nose with their potent smell. The gems he threw in here smelled just like the outside, like nature... she thought to herself. That's when she opened her eyes to look.

There were no gems to be had, only the moon shining down upon her like a caped savior. Then she began to struggle.

The usual line of questions she threw at the assailant. Where? Why? When? To whom? How? None were answered.

More time passed until she was gently laid on the ground. She shook off the feeling of weirdness, and was blinded once more by the light. Off the water, from the moon. She was outside again. Who saved her? Was she even being saved or tormented further?

Mila was shocked to turn and see the other Imperial from before. "Y-you? The one who claimed me worthless?"

"Tis I, yes," he responded. "My name is Lani. And you are worth far more than I told your captor."
