One of the first dragons to wander in after the technical-founders discovered the natural caves in the bluff and noted it'd make a good lair, and one of the few who's stayed. Not den mother, despite being one of the few actual responsible adults and (unofficial, unappreciative) solver of problems no one else wants to deal with. Not short-tempered either, just continually tried for patience. Stayed originally because it was a temperate, indirect-well-lit spot with lots of space for books and few dragons to guard the books against mistreatment from. By the time she noticed just how many came to stick around there were far too many books to be worth moving and her senior residence gave her authority, so she's made do. Collects, catalogs, stores and organizes all the information the rest of the lair accumulates without ever giving thought to the preservation of, from maps to trade manifests. Lark's melodies and Yu's sayings do not count unless someone writes them down; Thing's schematics do even though no one else can make head or tail of them. Found an apprentice in Haidee, who determined to become the most skilled loremaster any serthis has ever known and thus left the tribes to study uninterrupted by constant conflict. She serves as an attentive outlet for Hodge's grumbling over incorrect grammar or misspellings, absorbing every lesson and sparing all the dragons who really don't care.

Remy listened to the lecture of How To Treat Books with great concentration, and took away from it that books deserve a pillow to rest on. Haidee snatched it up and said yes definitely before Hodge could voice anything about clutter in the library. |
