Dead things have an odd tendency to flee in terror at the sight of his face.

Arrived already in possession of a magnificent hat, which everyone was so busy admiring they completely missed the bit of a lisp. (It turns out he did not, in fact, politely answer "Rufus, sir" but rather introduced himself as Ruthless Scourge.)

An even-tempered, peaceable dragon, when left utterly alone. Company makes him grumpy. Conversation makes him cranky, and prolonged interaction starts ticking his murderous impulses. He is retired. He carves game tiles and grows tea leaves. Yes he decreed he was taking over the lair when he decided to retire to it but that in no way requires him to socialize with its inhabitants.


Although retired from piracy, he does go out occasionally when the rabble-rousers decide to form a party. Though not specifically to fight. While others revel in battle, he's the quiet dragon in the background puttering around minding his own business.

Which is looting everything not nailed down, prying up the nails and looting those too. Don't interrupt his business. It goes much better for everyone when he's not interrupted. 		tumblr_ojnt816IdS1u9ymyzo5_250.png

Amongst the tea leaves of Rufus's hoard is an incongruous (and, everyone would agree, completely impossible) pillow.
