An earnest bundle of elbows and wings, not quite grown into his feet, with an inclination for concrete goals and low threshold for flush of success. Taken to the hatchling game of "complete chores to earn achievement badges" with such dedication some adults wonder if it's healthy, while others shrug and look for baubles to offer in exchange for running their errands. (He wants to after all.) Where trinkets are scarce is also susceptible to edible bribes, especially anything chewy, tart or bite-sized; when trinkets and snacks are absent will throw his heart in for warm-worded approval.

His respectably massing hatchie hoard consists of pins lined on fabric strips, piles of stickers and art scraps, toys, oddments, and cards for games he doesn't quite know the rules for and no one plays (but he might be getting kind of good at).

Reputedly seen running around at least once with a corgi. This is obviously untrue, as Cuddlebug's cats are known to murder anything canine that attempts to infringe on their general vicinity.

Frequently deputized whenever Nibs spots him to fulfill impossibly vague tasks, which he always tries his hardest on for ages instead of just ignoring like everyone else. As trying his hardest means pestering any adults around to clarify the instructions, everyone’s taken to trying to keep him and Nibs apart. (As Nibs rarely retains memory of anyone not immediately in view without prompting, this works fairly well as long as they're vigilant.)

Apparently a nature dragon, though doesn't look like one... doesn't look like anything, really.

Dinky bought a coconut palm tree seedling from a Far Seas merchant visiting the Cloudsong and gave it to Edarra. Edarra muttered something arcane about germination and root systems and planted it but couldn't get it to grow, so gave it to Gremlin to make pigments from. Gremlin dunked it in the swamprats' cauldron, gnawed on a leaf, scraped a couple shavings off the shell and gave it to Tigris as useless trade goods, who had it filched by a bunch of hatchies looking for a ball to play with. The hatchies bumped it into Raffles who confiscated it with a lecture on playing with indigestible food and took it to Truly, who said "That's an egg idiot go hatch it."

So the next expedition to the Plateau nesting grounds took it along, incubated, and brought it back to raise with the rest since what else is to be done with hatchlings.

Gumshoe once asked how he came to live in Wanderin. There was a loud silence before Stickybeak coughed and said just, um, found him around. Magrat said scavenging. Gumshoe now has very confused ideas about where eggs come from.

His toy pup's name is not Pinny, not Eyes, not Patch, it's Stuffy.

Gumshoe worked SO hard for SO long and did his absolute best and FINALLY earned a pillow from Remy! It's gonna be the proudest achievement of his hoard forever.
