Biography
Perhaps the most prominent of the Dragonblight spirit's believers, Etain is an acolyte to her very core. She is the main keeper and speaker of mythology around the creature, and has no issue in trying to convince others to join her in worship. This puts her at odds with most dragons within the clan, and she has no intentions of toning herself down to please them.
It began when she came to the Isle. She credits the Dragonblight to ensuring her survival, as unlike most victims of the stormy seas, she was not discovered by Ursa or fishers. She made her way to the clan entirely by chance, bedraggled and close to death, but somehow still alive. It is unknown how she knew the name of the presence she claims to have aided her was Dragonblight, something that seems to cause concern in Rem.
She is close to Cheryl, and is commonly found talking with perhaps the only other outspoken believer in the clan and assisting in rituals. However, she isn't quite so fond of Rem, the other believer. She dislikes that Rem not only refuses to tell the rest of the clan that the Dragonblight is more than a scary story for the hatchlings or a vague good luck charm for the adults, but also has never given Etain permission to do so. Rem has few rules for the clan and even then they can be bent and negotiated with should the need arise, but this is something she has never wavered on in the slightest - either she stays within the clan and holds her peace, or she can spread the 'good' word of the Dragonblight as a clanless dragon. Etain longs to encounter the Dragonblight once more, to show her appreciation and to force the other dragons to accept Her existence, so sometimes she finds herself considering the alternative. Perhaps the Dragonblight would reward Her most faithful.
