There are rumors about Lux, some kind, some cold, some in between. Dragons of the Sunbeam Ruins hail her as hero and villain alike, spreading rumors of her endeavors across the land.

Few are true.

While Lux is considered a champion of the truth and its worst enemy at the same time, she views herself as little more than the truth's' agent. All her life, raised in the Mirrorlight Promenade, she was raised to believe that nothing was more important than the truth, at any cost. Some Light dragons are more lax than others on the subject, which made her some enemies on account of her frank nature, but she held herself to the highest standard, never faltering.

As a result, she entered the duel believing herself to be entirely in the right. The truth was that their clan was under the sway of a foul dragon, an Imperial bent on dragging them into cold, cruel war. He wanted to profit off of destruction instead of prosperity, and Lux wanted to expose him. The trouble was that he had friends in high places, friends unconcerned with truth where treasure could be concerned. One such friend challenged Lux to a duel even as she came forth with the truth, and in character with their dealings, they cheated to win, leaving Lux to die on the Sundial Terrace, their battleground in the name of the truth.

But by the Lightweaver's blessing, she returned. At first, she fled the region, unready to meet her enemies again. Still in recovery from her brush with death, her movements were slow, careful, steady. She crossed into the Tangled Wood bending the light around her, making herself as invisible as possible, and there she stumbled upon Nyx Coven. They resounded with her, plain as they were, and Thana in particular called to her, cursed as she was to tell the truth, so there she settled.

Now, though, with the coven caught between the Promenade and the Hewn City after a mysterious shift in the world uprooted them, Lux is returned home, stronger than she was. The Lightweaver's strength washes over her, and the urge to spread the truth is stronger than ever before. The dragons who let her die will pay for their crimes. That's the simple truth of things.
