╰━━━━━━━━╯ 		Oloros has been hunted all his life, but it comes as no surprise, given the great greed that lives in the world. Some dragons covet precious gems. Others seek ancient relics. Still others pursue intangible things, like love or glory. But gold, oh gold, is a common greed, and Oloros is made of gold, all the way down to his beating heart.

His birth was stunning and celebrated far over, because he was not hatched from an egg, but given life by magic, a simple lucky statue granted breath and thought in the blink of an eye. He was solid gold, but he was alive, and he was his parents' son. Never for a moment did they ever think of him otherwise, and they raised him with boundless love and care. Nonetheless, love and care could not shield him from greed forever. Soon, dragons desired his scales, his mane, his pearl. They hounded him relentlessly whenever his parents weren't present to protect him, and sometimes when they were, up to the point when Oloros fled in the night once and for all, trying to bring his family some peace.

Now, he wanders Sornieth in heavy garb, still hunted, still fleeing. The pursuit is endless, his limbs grow tired, and sometimes, he wishes he were a statue once again. But that will probably never be, so he keeps running, his heart of gold trembling all the while.
