ANGELOS - Illusion

No one is quite sure if Angelos was ever really there, if he was ever really real. There's something ethereal to the way he moves, the way he walks and talks and glimmers in the morning light. It's almost eerie, his ability to creep up behind someone without a word, and he always speaks in such ominous portents. Somehow, Angelos can see beyond the scope of the present, and he lets the world around him know.

The trouble is that he isn't transparent. Just translucent, shedding only enough light on a subject to lead to more questions before he's off on his ghostly wanderings once more, caught in his own world, one that doesn't allow him to give clear answers.

Most curiously, according to his parents, Angelos does not exist. He was the imaginary friend to their other children in their youth, but they quickly abandoned the idea of him as they grew. Their parents never had a single son in any of their previous clutches, and that was that.

Funny how hard it is to know what to believe.
