Jaspyr

You travel deep within Clan Phantom's winding cave systems, and eventually find yourself standing in a spacious cavern that is lined with shelves and chests of all shapes and sizes. Some of them are made of ordinary wood, others seem to be enchanted with sigils of ice or fire, obviously designed to maintain a specific temperature to preserve the contents. There's a bustle of activity towards the back of the cavern. A young green nocturne stacks leaves in a chilled container, while a second nocturne stands by with another basketful of the same. A blue spiral with shimmering wings winds her way around the shelves, checking inventory and marking numbers on a clipboard. An imperial and skydancer pair, who look to be brother and sister, stack crates of varying sizes against the wall. A hooded blue pearlcatcher stands at the back wall in front of a large chart depicting the lair's inventory and he makes changes to the counts here and there, sometimes beating his wings to bring him level with the topmost row. His ears twitch as you approach, and he turns to cautiously glance at you, purple eyes glimmering in the shadows of his hood.
"Greetings," he says somewhat formally, offering a paw for shaking. "I am Jaspyr, the head of lair storage for Clan Phantom. It's a pleasure to meet you." He fiddles with a tiny pearl on a silver chain as he speaks. "If you're looking for something down here, I can assist you in finding it. You could also ask one of my assistants for help. Venus is over there, taking inventory, and Kavar is on the south wall, storing some recently harvested plants. Perhaps one of them can help you find what you're looking for?" He turns to face the chart again, scrutinizing it with care. "We're running really low on fruit..." he mutters, then glances back at you again. "Have a nice day, and good luck."

Backstory
Jaspyr was the second hatchling born to Kaelah and Stormscale, and one of three pearlcatcher males. As a newborn, he was normal enough, coughing up a properly sized pearl just like his two pearlcatcher brothers, but as he grew older, his oddity became apparent. Whether as a result of his guardian heritage or by some physical defect, Jaspyr is unable to produce the substance pearlcatchers use to add layers to their pearls. His sibling's pearls quickly outsized his, and the other local pearlcatchers began to view him as an outcast, picking on him relentlessly. Jaspyr would have had a very miserable childhood indeed if not for Smoke and Kaelah. Kaelah constantly encouraged him with the reassurance that the size or presence of his pearl didn't matter (as she herself no longer carried hers everywhere, keeping it instead locked in a chest in her and Stormscale's cave), and Smoke was his steadfast defender against the local pearlcatchers (they began to leave Jaspyr alone after she gave several of them a fierce beating). As an adult, Jaspyr is still a touch insecure about his pearl, but it no longer bothers him like it used to.
Personality
Jaspyr does not possess his brothers' charisma or his sister's feistiness. He is socially awkward and a bit shy around strangers. He is found of puzzles and games, and often speaks in riddles and clever metaphors. He wears his tiny pearl on a chain around his neck, and usually hides it under his hood. Jaspyr is very well liked by many of the clan's hatchlings for his jokes and riddles, and is adored by his nieces and nephews, Calliope, Tideshadow, Sililuuth, Venus, Talwyn, Jaculus, Jax, and Kethend.
