Backstory
Ash was Kaelah and Stormscale's first-hatched son. As a hatchling, he already possessed a sort of charm that earned him many friends in his neck of the Driftwood Drag. This charisma remained with him as he matured, capturing the attention of a fair number of female dragons. He hung around with these admirers frequently, but none of them caught his fancy. Then, one day, he spotted a beautiful female skydancer, clad in silver gear and with flashing cyan eyes. Ash was smitten, and, sure of his charms, went to strike up a conversation with her. He soon found that the skydancer, Myria, was not interested in him. Unlike most every other she-dragon in the immediate area, she took no notice of him, only focusing on finding an automaton of hers that had gone missing in the area. Ash tried many times to win her appeal, to no avail. Finally, he realized that the only way to win her over would be to find her missing automaton, and so, after a long and tiring search, he came across the tiny metal songbird in a shrouded bog. Upon the return of the bird, Myria began to take interest in him, befriending and eventually falling for the charming pearlcatcher. They are now bondmates, and have three children: Calliope, Tideshadow, and Sililuuth.
Personality
Ash is a smooth talker, very persuasive, and a cunning debater. He backs up his arguments with both logical facts and cutting remarks. As a father, he is caring and supportive, though he has a tendency to offer a lot of unwanted relationship advice to his kids. He firmly believes in his own excellence, and is a bit vain, but a hardy warrior nonetheless. Ash is a total romantic with regards to Myria, and he frequently showers her with surprise gifts and kind words. He takes a keen interest in Myria's latest projects, despite not understanding the technical explanations he usually gets.
