When I'm not kicking back with a drink or dancing the night away, you can usually find me chasing after thunderstorms. Oh how I love thunderstorms! The lightning, the Storm Seekers, the wind, chasing it is only half the fun! It's no wonder I somehow traveled from one Lightning clan to another during a chase. It helps that I get to live here with my now wife, Ran.

Let me tell you about her! She's the prettiest shade of sky blue, and fights like nothing I've ever seen before. She says she gets that from her mom; if Ran is already great, then her mom must be amazing! Did I mention she's smart, too? She helped me find my name and says her dad named her and her siblings after gods and goddesses, which is where she got the idea.

I always tell Ran I'll do what I can to protect her, even fighting the biggest monster in the Shifting Expanse. She always tells me she can take care of herself, but she usually stays close to me anyway. I sometimes wonder who's really protecting who, but I'd like to think that what problems her claws can't solve my wits can.

After some courting, Ran and I have settled down and started raising our family. Since Ran wanted me to figure out a naming theme like her father did for her and her siblings, I decided to take a musical approach for it. Since metal and rock are my usual musical genres of choice, I picked a list of names an Ran and I narrowed down our choices for our first three kids to the following: Janis (Janis Joplin), Satch (Joe Satriani), and Bruce (Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of Iron Maiden). When our next two kids were born, we decided to name them after hard rock sibling duo Arejay and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. I'll have to keep my ears out for more awesome naming ideas!
