A long Spiral soars the skies somewhere above the western deserts of the Shifting Expanse only coming to land when he notices a new visitor exploring his territory - you.

"Well hello! I guess I could take a break from scouting to have a chat; my clan's part of the Expanse looks alright for now. I hope you don't mind the dust and ash, either; I just flew over from patrolling near the border of the Ashfall Wastes.

I mainly serve as the head scout for the clan. Nothing dangerous gets too close to the western borders of our territory without me knowing about it first. It's a good thing my mother passed on her good fighting genes, or else the clan might be down a scout! Lately, I've been teaching my little twin, Arejay some scouting tricks I've picked up. He's currently the clan's main courier, but occasionally he helps me out on scouting missions too.

When I'm not scouting out for danger and fighting for extra loot with Janis, I'm running deliveries between home and other territories during festivals and providing flying lessons. The Ridgeback and Snapper diggers like Frankie and Jojin head out to targeted spots in other territories, camp there during festivals, and get us some loot while I make sure to get it home every day and get it to our hoard.

Hmm... what else could I talk about? Well Janis and I were supposedly so loud as hatchlings that our parents gave us fitting names. I've never heard any music by the band Iron Maiden before, but I might have to give it a try someday since I'm named after their lead singer. Maybe my father or my quieter but more musical brother Satch will have a sample for me to listen to.

Speaking of my family, I should really head home. Join me for a flight and meet the rest of my family and clanmates if you wish."

With that, the long Spiral flies back towards his familiar home with his colorful Paradise Zalis close behind.
