Ramose

There are few things Ram knows in absolutes. He can't remember his mother, he prefers cold to warm, and his father will never leave him.

All other 'facts' the dragon knows about the world are best guesses, or corroborated opinions, and the ability to spin these so called truths is a skill some people have made into an art. As any ice dragon, Ram wishes to collect these fragments of the changing times, carefully recorded in the archives of his mind to ponder over long hours.

But he has no interest in absolutes, no, he's grown too Wind for that. Instead he collects variations, over time and place, until the facts are more like suggestions with some similar vein. And he knows more than most.

Information slips into that mental archive no matter it's source or supposed privacy. And Ram is not above brokering it to those with information to trade, or gifting it to the people dearest to him.

Let others spin words into art, he'll make his into shields and weapons instead.


The only dragon beside his wife who understands Ram when he leaves out 'unnecessary' information (regardless of if it really is commonly known or not) is his stepmother, Haleth. She isn't aware she does this, and somehow hears what he doesn't say rather than knows everything he knows. Still, it works, so when the clan can't figure out what he meant, they ask her.
