Biography

Thenoir Thenoir keeps to himself in the library most of his days, popping out at sunrise and sunset to enjoy the play of colors and contemplate his collection of thoughts. Much like his familiar, he will stay out of others' line of sight, rarely being glimpsed except in the odd moments that sunlight glances off of his warmly colored wings. Amongst his own clan he's become something of a joking myth; the shy Imperial living in the shadows of the tunnels, surrounded by files and notes, only to be glimpsed when the sun rides the horizon. Honestly, even if Thenoir wanted to disappear and live amongst the books, he still wouldn't be able to escape his found family with the likes of Glistro and Armillaria poking their heads in to visit and study. Outside of being shy and stubbornly elusive, Thenoir enjoys mediating and keeping record for the clan; making maps on expeditions, historical scribe, saving reference and resource literature from scavenge piles. He used to tuck himself in a corner to scribe during clan councils until he made the grave mistake of speaking up and exposing his extensive knowledge - now the family makes him sit in the center circle and will encourage the scholar for additional information at lulls in the consideration or when he seems a little more interested in the conversations at hand than usual. An avid book lover, he also sets a collection of pocket baubles out every sunrise to charge in the sun for others to use to read at night. Books are patient, but the reader is not - the night won't stop us from sating our minds! |
