 		although her name is xia, she has dubbed herself flourite upon moving to the carillon clan to better pair herself with phosphor- and because she quite likes the idea of having a pseudonym- a codename, if you will- to go by. officially she works as part of the clan's beginnings of a circus alongside phosphor. together they dance intricate and flowing patterns around one another, tracing arcs through the dark with lamps or dusting their own scales in glow-in-the-dark particles to create a show of light and flow and movement to music. she enjoys their performances, especially since she shares them with phosphor, but the two have a long way to go compared to professionals.

xia's real passion is paranormal investigation. she reads up on all sorts of articles and magazines, learning everything she can and keeping herself up to date on fellow enthusiasts' discoveries. meanwhile she keeps a dedicated record of any local rumors or suspicious happenings she hears of and tracks her own findings. any excess money earned from the circus is spent on ghost detecting equipment, and her lair is a jumble of machinery and notebooks. just the topic gets her quite excited, and she grabs any excuse to plan her own ghost hunting trip or adventure.
