born in the windy lands of travel, phosphor's birth clan took him along one day to the crossroads to find his destined home. that's where the carillon clan found him and, filling the young dragon's head with tales of their shadowy home filled with glowing wonders, enchanted him away into the dark of the tangled wood. everything there became such a bizarre and fascinating mixture of the strange and the familiar; the shadows hid many dangers and yet spoke to his breed's instincts, and the clan's strong wind flight influences sometimes made it feel as though he'd never left the windswept plateau. here was a wide and wild wood for him to explore and play in. he quickly became fascinated with the glowing fungi dotting the land. phosphorescence seemed the shadow's own form of light, and it was for this he took his name. he began to experiment with the fungi, crushing them up and applying the powder to anything that might yield an interesting result. in this way he created strange glowing lamps and paints and the powder he sometimes dusts his own scales with so that his whole body glows. phosphor is always filled with a sense of playfulness, so when eatos and hiero began talking about starting up a circus he was quick to sign up. he and his best friend flourite joined on as aerobats, weaving complicated dances in flight around one another while aglow with lanterns or phosphorescent dust. it was his idea, and as such he has the greater passion for it, although flourite enjoys it very much as well. when he's not goofing off with games or his fungi he's dreaming up new tricks and routines for them to try out. they're still very much both amateurs, however. in addition to his playful experiments and the circus, phosphor helps flourite out with her paranormal investigating a great deal. it isn't his passion, but he finds it fun and is happy to help out his companion. he is one of the few willful listeners who will let her ramble on about her latest findings or suspicions, and when she goes out on hunts he is her trusted partner. equally important, however, is making sure she doesn't get so wound up in her interests to forget things like eating and sleeping. |
